As of right now when you buy a Street, Sport, or Race part the old part even stock is gone! this is set this way so me and the mods can easily check cars and pi to reduce cheating. Now this dose make it more challenging to have a correct build. ex. You have a race part, you want to go back to stock or street, part must be re purchased! So toying around with the idea of being able to keep your old parts and change them up as you want.
The only way i see holding old parts happening is going to require more work for the player and the mods. new rules made to adjust to holding parts.
-Car/parts list must be registered before each race. -Profile must have separate thread of stored parts and labeled what car they came off. Parts change must be approved!!
This is just a idea! Please give back your thoughts on this.

If you label each part when you buy and don't remove from list should be easy to follow. On my list I have street & sport weight reduction. I have listed them both. If you have more than 1 option you could put (fitted) next to it.

this is true it would work just involves more work from the player and when bringing in new players simple is key. How about owning a garage where you can store parts after its bought
Buying a garage would cost a good chuck to own

Not sure about garage. I'd say most people have a shed or something they could put bits. Or even under your bed 😂 I'd say list of each part you have bought and then fitted to the ones you are currently using e.g.
Rwd conversion 1000 4/4/18 FITTED 2.0 vvti conversion 2000 4/4/18 FITTED Sport tyres 600 4/4/18 FITTED Street weight reduction 400 4/4/18 Race Springs and Shocks 1500 4/6/18 FITTED Sport Race reduction 800 4/6/18 FITTED Upgrade rear Tyre width 500 4/7/18 FITTED Street brakes 200 4/7/18 FITTED Forza front Aero 600 4/8/18 FITTED Sport rims 300 4/8/18 FITTED

I like it, it just means more work for the player on the forum. I think being a forum based game odds are all ready against us with new player. I really want to interchange parts. Currently are main staff is me fd wangan and Old Man Doro. before each race we have to make sure there car is running the correct fitted parts. Maybe add a shop that you pay a small amount to switch back to old part. example. Under parts thread there will be a subforum called "shop" here you will pay a fee and get approval to switch out your part. players would still need to have things labeled as fitted or not but that would help us mods keep track of what people are running and hopefully keep cheating from happening

Sorry, think I fucked what I meant before.
Should keep the stock part and then the highest upgrade you have.
And who needs storage when I can store the stuff in my living room? xD

Buying and owning parts
Whenever you buy a part, you must go to correct thread and post a reply with "buying xxxxxxx for $x,xxx" After you have done that a mod will approve the purchase as long as you can afford it and your profile is setup right. Now that you own the part you must go to you player profile and Add the part to your list for the car you purchased it for. All parts must say (installed) or (Storage). All parts you purchase come installed.
Now that we have purchased parts lets talk about removing parts. Lets say you buy a Sport Weight reduction early on. You save some money added more parts to the car and now you want to remove the Sport Weight Reduction back to stock to keep a car in a specific class. This is where The Shop comes into play. In order to change a part and put old part in Storage you must go to The Shop thread.
When you get into The Shop. Part swapping is going to be cheap to make is easy. For $50 you can swap any part with one you own. To do so you will post a reply saying. Swapping (Sport Weight reduction) for (Stock Weight reduction). When Approved you will have legally changed parts in your Ryokai car.
You MUST go into player profile and Edit you Car parts page.
